CAPTION [Chapter II]

CAPTION

Definition:

A caption is a short text placed near an image, photo, or video that explains, describes, or gives additional context.


Purpose:

1. To explain what’s happening in the picture/video.

2. To grab the viewer's attention.

3. To provide background information or context.

4. To entertain, motivate, or inform.


Structure:

1.Lead – An attention-grabbing opening.

2.Body – Description or explanation of the image.

3.Closing – A summary, message, or call to action.


Characteristics:

•Clear, short, and meaningful.

•Matches the image or video.

•Gives important or interesting information.

•Engages the audience.


Examples:

"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit."

"Behind every success, there’s

 a great team effort."


Part 1
